Sandbox: Describes a game mode where the player may explore the game world freely, doing virtually any activity available to them.  Sandbox Junior is our UQ Idea Hub Discovery program for year 7 to 9 students over the school holidays. In this interactive workshop we walk the students through the process of customer discovery, problem identification, solutions design and storytelling. This workshop is designed for students curious about entrepreneurship and the world biggest issues, as it provides a concrete set of tools to understand and unpack big problems and come up with tangible solutions.  This workshop is aligned with the QCAA new curriculums and supports the acquisition of the 21st century skills, such as problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.  The workshop will wrap up at 2pm, but for the participants that need to stay longer until pick up time, we have planned other fun, engaging activities up to 4 pm. There will be a UQ tour and a screening of the TV show produced by  UQ Ventures Ask The Entrepreneur.  This is a short documentary where inspiring Australian entrepreneurs share their stories and answer honest questions from the general public on what entrepreneurship really looks like. This extra activities are supervised by one of our facilitators and 100% optional.  This version of the program is designed for Years 7-9 participants. If you are interested in the Senior version (for year 10-12 students, click here).
