Do you like to knit stripey socks? Have you ever tried to dye self-striping yarn?   Self-striping yarn is a type of variegated yarn which has two or more colours. You will learn to make longer lengths of each colour so that your next project will have lovely stripes.  The colour patterns repeat continuously and predictably throughout. A materials pack is included: 4 x 25gms of undyed sock yarn (25g/$6 each, 100g total)  6 dye-baths, hand-paint materials. Gloves, wool-preparation and dye extracts are supplied as part of the workshop. (total $40). .  What to Bring: You can bring a small amount undyed wool yarn if you wish to do some more dyeing. Make sure you wear old clothes and shoes you wouldn't mind being dyed or wear an apron. BYO lunch. Tea and coffee facilities provided. Fridge & microwave available. Minimum of 4 students, the class will be cancelled 48 hours prior if the minimum is not met.
