Lilly is a passionate and energetic barre and pilates instructor who
also practices yoga in her own time. She is training to become a
midwife and hopes to support, connect and empower women on their
journey into motherhood, with love, strength and grace. Mindfulness
and Meditation has become a big part of Lilly's training and life, and
she wishes to share her insights and teach some ways this can become
part of yours.
Mindfulness creates space – it allows you to check in and anchor
yourself. This helps you "to show up better in your life", become more
present and have more room in your day for the things that truly
matter.
This 1 hour workshop is for anyone and everyone, especially those who
have never meditated before. Lilly will talk participants through what
mindfulness and meditation is, and then show techniques on how to do
this.
The workshop will cover the origins, the benefits, some practice of
the above and the finish with a discussion circle. It's overall aim is
to leave participants with a way that they can incorporate mindfulness
and meditation into their own life and how to experience and practice
at home.
Tea and snacks will be provided, along with yoga mats and cushions to
sit on. Chairs are available for those with back issues, or who
can't sit on the floor for a prolonged period of time.
