Grace College and the Women's Theology Conference Committee are delighted to invite you to the 4th Annual Women's Theology Conference!  The Conference theme this year is Lifting Marginalised Voices and we have two fantastic keynote speakers, Dr Monica Melanchthon and Rev Dr Avril Hannah-Jones. A full range of ticket types are available until sold out. This event is designed for women clergy, professionals, postgraduate students and informed lay people to share deeply about matters of Christian faith. The mission of the conference is to empower women to effectively share their Christian perspectives on faith, theology, sacred texts, ministry, service, the arts and more through the expression of their academic and professional activities. We welcome and encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, LGBTI women, and women from marginalised communities to attend the Conference. FAQs Are there ID, gender or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Most of our conference guests are women between the ages of 25 - 75. Minimum age is 16 years. Men are welcome to attend the opening dinner and keynote address; otherwise the conference is limited to women only for the remainder of the week. What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? Grace College is easily accessible via Brisbane Council Bus, routes 412 and 402.  Please disembark at the Coldridge Street stop (stop 23a) at the intersection with Carmody Road.  If you prefer to drive or take a taxi, our address is 65 Walcott Street, St Lucia however please note that there is limited parking onsite. The University of Queensland has a covered parking garage on the corner of Walcott Street and Sir Fred Schonell Drive, the only intersection leading to the College.  Are discounted tickets available? Discounted tickets are not available, and prices are kept as low as possible. This event raises funds to provide bursaries for the next generation of women leaders resident at Grace College. What can I bring into the event? All food, drinks and materials are included in your conference fees.  No additional food or beverages may be brought on site for food safety and compliance reasons.  Most dietary preferences can be accommodated with advance notice.  How can I contact the organiser with any questions? Please contact Laura at wtc@grace.uq.edu.au or Anita at principal@grace.uq.edu.au. What is the refund policy? Refunds of 75% are available up to 1 May 2018 and 50% up to 1 June 2018.  No refunds are available after 1 June 2017. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? It is helpful to bring your printed ticket but not required. Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? No.  Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Please contact the conference organiser as above.  For the most up to date information, please see our website at www.gcwtc.net
