This two course will give you the skills and knowledge to be a HOSPITALITY AND CUSTOMER SUPERSTAR. You will do complete both theory and practical at a local venue so you will get hands on practical experience at an event. This will enable you to immediately put your training to good use and provide valuable inclusion for your resume including important pre-requisites for a job in hospitality including a Responsible Service of Alcohol. OUTCOMES In this course you will learn to: • Communicate with and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers • Understand and apply organisational standards and procedures • when delivering service. • Recognise and act upon opportunities to deliver additional levels of service beyond customer’s immediate request. • Establish rapport with customer to promote goodwill and trust during service delivery. • Practise high standards of personal presentation and hygiene according to organisational requirements. • Consider social and cultural differences and respect customers and colleagues from different social and cultural groups and treat them with respect and sensitivity. • Sell or serve alcohol responsibly. • Assist customers to drink within appropriate limits. • Assess alcohol affected customers and identify those to whom sale or service must be refused. • Understand and Follow safe food handling programs in accordance with organisational and legislative requirements. Qualifications and Certifications At the completion of all workbooks and successful demonstration of practical you will receive important requirements for a job in hospitality. • A nationally accredited SITSS00036 - Customer Service Skillset • A Certificate of Completion for “Advanced Hospitality and Customer Care” and a statement of attainment • Statements of Attainment for SITXCCS006 Provide service to customers SITXCOM002 Show social and cultural sensitivity SITHFAB002 Provide responsible service of alcohol SITXFSA002 Participate in Safe food handling practices FSKRDG10 Read and respond to routine workplace information
