Support group for victims of spiritual abuse or high demand groups (cults)

A Logan West SUPPORT GROUP FOR VICTIMS OF SPIRITUAL ABUSE OR HIGH DEMAND GROUPS (CULTS) A support group for those who have come out of high demand/high control groups, cults, or spiritually abusive relationships. These groups may have been “spiritual”, “religious”, “political”, “family”, “philosophical”, and are typically held together by charismatic leaders demanding total commitment and using manipulative techniques of control. When: The 1st Tuesday night of the month, 7pm-9pm. Park Ridge Connect Support Groups offers non-religious, open meetings for family members and friends affected by addiction, personality disorders, and high-demand groups. These meetings are open to those in the Logan West community and provide an opportunity to talk and listen to others in a non-judgemental, safe environment. A mental health professional will be facilitating the meetings.
