IIMPACT Workshop Quality improvement in allied health: my manager made me do it or an opportunity to showcase impact? About this Event IIMPACT Workshop Thursday 20 February 2020, 2-5pm Quality improvement in allied health: my manager made me do it or an opportunity to showcase impact? Facilitated by Assoc Prof Saravana Kumar. Do you associate quality improvement with accreditation cycle? Do you view quality improvement as another “tick in the box” activity that you need to do once a year as part of your annual professional development activity? Are you being bombarded with needing to show “impact” and you are unsure how to do this? This workshop will present an overview of quality improvement and showcase how QI activities can be powerful vehicles to demonstrate different types of impact in allied health. The workshop will outline both theoretical and practical aspects of commonly used quality improvement strategies, as well as showcase emerging initiatives that can be readily implemented in allied health settings.
