To develop a shared understanding of academic integrity and promote it
as part of the assessment process, all Business School teaching staff
- both continuing and sessional, are required to attend a 2 hour
professional development workshop on academic integrity. Sessional
staff will be paid for their attendance at the workshop.Based on the
premise that assessment is one of the most powerful tools we have to
ensure academic integrity, the workshop will share resources which can
be used at various stages of the teaching and assessment journey. What
you can expect:
* Learn which assessment types are less likely to be outsourced
* Discover strategies to identify academic integrity breaches
during the marking process
* Pick up tips and tricks for using Turnitin
* Revise your knowledge of UniSA Academic Integrity Policy and gain
confidence about referring breach cases to your School's Academic
Integrity Officer
The workshop will be supported by a Learnonline site which houses
additional resources, including a range of both short and extended
videos which provide key findings from internationally renowned
research on academic integrity. Further engagement with these
resources will increase your capacity and confidence to promote
academic integrity in your course.
