Each piece in the collection riffs on a different design period covered by one or another member of the Goulder family and these styles have been synthesized with Goulder’s contemporary craftsmanship. MEL ROBSON: INTERSECTIONS AND BOUNDARIES 27 February - 3 May Alice Springs-based ceramic artist Mel Robson presents a new body of ceramic works that explore the idea of place through the lens of mapping and cartography. Using material, form, surface and mark-making, Robson investigates the meaning of both ‘home’, ‘sense of place’ and how we position ourselves in the landscape.
