Eight sequential Phonological Awareness and Phonics workshops for R-2
teachers in Le Fevre Peninsula and West Torrens partnerships. About
this Event Phonological Awareness and Phonics are two of the ‘Big 6
of Reading’ and are fundamental elements to reading development. To
ensure rigour and consistency of systemic synthetic phonics
instruction across the Le Fevre Peninsula and West Torrens
partnerships in the early years, we have partnered with the Literacy
Guarantee Unit to deliver a comprehensive professional learning
program for all R-2 teachers in the Portfolio in 2020.
