Perhaps you would like to follow you dreams, make an impact or build
something of lasting benefit. Starting a business can be hard enough
so could you ever see yourself developing multiple businesses at the
same time? How do you find the time, motivation, energy, and support
to work on the new venture or even a side hustle alongside your main
business or job?
If you’re looking to go from idea to implementation, startup to
scaleup and perhaps have an ambition to manage multiple businesses,
hear how you can do it without losing your mind.
Speakers include:
* Mayor, officiates the launch, shares her passion for the Port and
tells us what it means to build vibrant communities.
* Steven Kidd, shares his tips on building and managing multiple
businesses and explains why schmoozing is key to success.
* Jodie Evans, will share how schmoozing took her vision from future
to now.
Founded by Jodie Evans, Project 18 is an inclusive space that is
committed to embracing acceptance and diversity. It provides a broad
range of supports, services and workshops delivered by practitioners
from a variety of disciplines.
Project 18 was established to provide something a bit different in
recognition of the changing needs of the population of the Port.
Practitioners have a shared set of values and believe in working
together to improve the wellbeing of others whilst supporting and
learning from each other in a way that reflects the thriving community
we wish to cultivate.
Cohosted by Jodie Evans, Founder, Project 18 and Wendy Perry,
Entrepreneurship Facilitator, Switch Start Scale & MD @Workforce
BluePrint, you’ll enjoy bubbles, beer, wine and soft drinks,
schmoozing (networking) and nibbles in the newly opened Project 18
wellbeing collective space.
Video footage, photos and social media posts will be shared on the
night and Entrepreneurship Facilitators are funded by the Australian
Government with the initiative managed by the Department of
Employment, Skills, Family and Small Business.
