Learn how to DESIGN YOUR OWN ORIGINAL CHARACTER FOR USE IN A COMIC AT
PAPERCUTS COMICS FESTIVAL WITH NO MAN'S LAND CREATOR SHEYDIN DEW!
About this Event This free WORKSHOP WILL BE HELD IN THE CENTENARY
GYMNASIUM AT THE CHRISTIAN BROTHERS COLLEGE SENIOR CAMPUS, 214
Wakefield Street, ADELAIDE, alongside the PAPERCUTS COMICS FESTIVAL
MARKET DAY HAPPENING FROM 11AM TO 5:30pm at the same venue. This is
the second of four WORKSHOPS TO BE HELD DURING THE COURSE OF THE
MARKET. This 45-minute WORKSHOP WILL SHOW PARTICIPANTS THE PROCESS
SHEYDIN DEW USES TO CREATE CHARACTERS FOR HER COMICS! The WORKSHOP
WILL COVER CREATING A PROFILE ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER, a brief
explanation on shape language in CHARACTERS, thumbnailing and finally
detailing your CHARACTER. This WORKSHOP WILL BE AIMED AT ALL AGE
GROUPS WISHING TO PARTICIPATE, using examples from Sheydin's own comic
series No Man's Land, which she has taken to conventions such as
Supanova and ADELAIDE Comic and Toy Fair. This WORKSHOP IS STRICTLY
LIMITED TO 12 PARTICIPANTS AND BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL. All WORKSHOP
MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED. Please arrive at the venue at 12:45pm for
a start time of 1:00pm. PAPERCUTS COMICS FESTIVAL This WORKSHOP IS
PART OF DAY 4 OF THE WIDER PAPERCUTS COMICS FESTIVAL RUNNING FROM 16
