Learn how to make pop-ups for 3D COMIC PAGES AT PAPERCUTS COMICS
FESTIVAL WITH LOCAL ILLUSTRATOR AND WORKSHOP FACILITATOR GRACE
MITCHELL! About this Event This free WORKSHOP WILL BE HELD IN THE
CENTENARY GYMNASIUM AT THE CHRISTIAN BROTHERS COLLEGE SENIOR CAMPUS,
214 Wakefield Street, ADELAIDE, alongside the PAPERCUTS COMICS
FESTIVAL MARKET DAY HAPPENING FROM 11AM TO 5:30pm at the same venue.
This is the first of four WORKSHOPS TO BE HELD DURING THE COURSE OF
THE MARKET. In this 45-minute WORKSHOP SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES, Grace
Mitchell will introduce participants to how to make pop-ups (e.g.
pop-up illustrations of fantastical buildings) for 3D COMIC PAGES!
There will also be some warm-up activities to get the creative juices
flowing. Grace has a Bachelor of Visual Arts and a Master of Primary
Teaching, and has experience running arts WORKSHOPS AT CARCLEW YOUTH
ARTS, Inky Fingers COMICS GANG, Neo Teen Takeover and Feast Queer
Youth Drop In. This WORKSHOP IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 12 PARTICIPANTS
AND BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL. All WORKSHOP MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED.
Please arrive at the venue at 11:30am for a start time of 11:45am.
