Award-winning ROBOTICS, Drones, Coding and Engineering after school
classes for ages 10-18 in the heart of the city About this Event At
ADELAIDE ROBOTICS ACADEMY STUDENTS DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF SCIENCE,
Technology (Coding), Engineering, Maths, Physics and Chemistry in a
practical way by using robots and drones. Our Curriculum is aligned
with ACARA, and it was designed by Carnegie Mellon University to
progressively teach young people Applied Science throughout several
years. And the proof that it works best is that in 2019 we won more
trophies in RoboCup than any other school in South Australia. We are
part of Children's University Australia, which is managed by the
University of ADELAIDE (more info here ). The Curriculum includes
studying motion, sensors, decision programming and logic through
challenges such as Robo Sumo, Robo Soccer, Search and Rescue, Robo
Dance, Maze, and Space Challenge. We are the only Australian
institution accredited to organise certification exams on behalf of
Carnegie Mellon ROBOTICS ACADEMY FOR PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES SUCH AS
LABVIEW (EV-G) and Arduino. Apart from building and programming LEGO
Mindstorms EV3 robots, we learn Electronics by creating custom Arduino
robots. In addition, we have special classes for DJI drone
programming. Each year our 50-100 students attend several excursions
to exciting ADELAIDE ENTERPRISES INVOLVED IN HIGH TECH, automation,
artificial intelligence and engineering. ADELAIDE ROBOTICS ACADEMY
ORGANISES ROBOTICS CLASSES, App Development and Game Development
courses throughout the school year as after-school activities at
Thebarton Community Centre (Room 4) every day from Monday to Friday
from 4 PM to 6 PM. The same class will run Monday to Friday from 4-5

is $25 if the students will use our computers or $20 if students bring
their laptops. Please use Windows or Mac computers only. No
