Have you ever wanted to be part of a book group but absolutely hate being told what to read and would rather talk about what YOU like? Perhaps you prefer to rely on recommendations from other people to get ideas on what to read next? Whatever your motivation, our book group encourages diversity in reading and the joy of shared experience. Join us in our Reading Cafe, a dedicated time and space in the library to sit and relax and chat with other book lovers about your favourite reads. We have two bi-monthly sessions to choose from: on a weekday or a on Saturday afternoon. Choose your preferred time and join me, Gilly, for a relaxed afternoon of book chatter and a hot cuppa in our Reading Cafe. Bring your current read (or favourite read) and share with the group what you like/love/loathe about it in a safe, relaxed, inclusive environment. Don't forget to bring a notepad and pen to jot down recommendations. Sessions start at 2pm and finish by 3:30pm on FRIDAYS and at 1pm-2:30pm on SATURDAYS. Refreshments provided, but you're welcome to bring a plate to share.
