Introduction to Safety

The Fishing season is about to start and we all need to stay safe. Learn how to use your radio and how to light flares About this Event Following on from the Justagirl "All Things Tuna night" we now present you Introduction to Safety. When fishing for fun or competitions you need to use your radio, with Coms it is a must or you will be disqualified. This event will teach you how, what to say, you will get a practise in as well. This is an introduction to give you the skills to make basic calls. We have also included a flare demonstration and you can practise lighting them yourself, Its now good as you are sinking to try and work it out. This will be dependant on weather conditions Due to the Nature of this and needing the expertise of Sea Rescue Trainers and licences to light flares etc there will be a charge of $45 per person. There is a maximum of 25 participants only
