Are you new to hiking?
Want to learn more about how to prepare for a bushwalk or hike or
perhaps you are looking to join some group walks and are freaking out
about the whole thing?
Our Wise Women Walking program for 2020 is an opportunity to join in
on the fun in a calm, supportive and encouraging space.
So take a deep breath, bring your questions and join us for an evening
of outdoor chat!
This info session will give you the opportunity to learn more about
how to get prepared, what kind of basic gear you might need and what
kind of trails and walks you can explore either as a solo walker or
with our groups. We will launch our membership program for 2020 along
with a calendar full of ways you participate no matter what stage of
fitness/experience level you are at.
We will also give you a chance to meet a few of our walking leaders
for the 2020 season and hear how they got involved in the outdoors -
not all of us were born into it and some of us started in our 30's,
40's and 50's and later!
We all start somewhere - and you can begin with us :)
