This introductory course is designed for people already using a
DIGITAL SLR WHO WOULD LIKE TO GO BEYOND SHOOTING IN AUTO MODE.Over 6
weeks this course will teach you how to take control of your digital
camera to produce better images. Learn the various camera settings and
controls and when to use them.
Learn basic photographic concepts and skills, such exposure, aperture
and shutter speed, and how to better compose your images.
What you will learn:
* Best modes and menu options for camera operation.
* White balance: How to get the colours right in your photos.
* ISO: Configuring your camera to shoot in different lighting
conditions.
* Depth of field: Shooting for soft vs sharp backgrounds.
* Focus control: How to achieve sharp focus more often.
* Composition tips.
* The best lenses for different styles of photography.
* Shooting movement: How to get sharp images of moving subjects.
* Image stabilisation
* Exposure control: How to get brighter or darker images when you
shoot.

* Your camera
* Your lens/es
* Tripod(not essential)
* The manual for your camera
* Notebook and a pen
