palawa kani naming launch - The Annexe (UTAS Accommodation)

Riawunna has worked in collaboration with the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre to gift the new student Annexe with palawa kani native animal names.

This project is the first of its kind to take place in lutruwita/ Tasmania.

The launch will include a Welcome to Country, a historical overview of palawa kani and an opportunity to learn and practice pronouncing the palawa kani native animal names.

Open to all UTAS students and staff and community.

To be held at the Annexe Accommodation - 20 College Road, Sandy Bay.

Join us after the launch for light refreshments at the Riawunna Centre.
