Nutcracker and Don Quixote

Following their sell-out 2019 performances of Swan Lake, the Imperial Russian Ballet Company return to Australia to perform a double bill, The Nutcracker & Don Quixote.
The Nutcracker, famous for Tchaikovskys musical genius, features one of the most recognisable and enduring music scores ever written. Set at Christmas time, a young girl dreams of her Nutcracker prince and their adventures together. Don Quixote, a retired gentleman and his faithful squire Sancho Panza travel the roads of Spain searching for glory and grand adventure. Don Quixote gives up food, shelter and comfort for the love of a peasant woman Dulcinea del Toboso.
