WHAT THIS SESSION IS ABOUTThis training is required before you can
foster any cats or kittens with Ten Lives. There is no obligation to
foster cats or kittens after attending the training (although we hope
you'll still be keen!)
ABOUT THE TEN LIVES CAT CENTRE FOSTER CARE PROGRAM
The Ten Lives Cat Centre’s foster care program is an essential part
of our work looking after our kitties.
Our foster carers are people from all walks of life. Students,
retirees, full-time employees and everything in between. You don’t
have to be available to foster all the time, either – you let us
know what suits you. Fostering even for a week or two helps with our
vital work.
These cats and kittens just need some of your time, and lots of love.
You may be helping a kitty recouperate, gain confidence, or just
getting them used to a home environment before they're ready to be
adopted.
If you have extra time, you may be interested in learning how to
bottle feed orphan kittens and raise them to an adoptable age. This
can be hard work, but very rewarding!
