Join us for one or more free workshops in which we will demonstrate
the latest software to support your work with students who have
language, literacy and learning difficulties. The workshops will focus
on ways that the software can be used both at school and at home. It
will explore some of the existing courses embedded within the program
and how these can either be incorporated into an Individual
Educational Program or adapted for everyday classroom activity. These
workshops will be of interest to new users as well as those who may
have used previous versions of these programmes. It will offer an
insight into some of the valuable features that exist within the
program and explore the support that these can offer. Participants are
encouraged to bring along their own laptops with the software
previously installed ready for use. The focus will be on Primary and
lower Secondary school levels. (Note: Max 20 participants) Presenter:
Geoffrey Kaye holds a voluntary position as a STEM Professional in
Schools (part of the CSIRO outreach programme) he specialises in the
use of digital technologies to support literacy and learning.
