JOIN US FOR AN INTERACTIVE EDUCATION SESSION, UTILISING GROUP DISCUSSION AND CASE STUDIES TO PROVIDE A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF PALLIATIVE CARE.   TARGET AUDIENCE:  General Practitioners who care for people with a life-limiting illness. Practice Nurses are also welcome to attend. TOPICS: * Recognising patients who need palliative care * Communicating about end of life issues * Advance care planning * Voluntary assisted dying in Victoria * Assessing and managing common symptoms WORKSHOP PRE-REQUISITE: To maximise learning PEPA recommends completing 6 online GP learning modules prior to attending. The modules have been developed by the PALLIATIVE CARE EDUCATION AND TRAINING COLLABORATIVE AND CAN BE ACCESSED BY THIS LINK: https://palliativecareeducation.com.au/login/index.php [https://palliativecareeducation.com.au/login/index.php] FACILITATOR:  Dr Rowan Hearn, Clinical Director, Palliative Medicine, Calvary Health Care Bethlehem.    PEPA IS AN ACCREDITED EDUCATOR WITH RACGP. TIMES: 6:00pm for registration. Workshop commences 6:30pm until 9:00pm CATERING:  Finger food and refreshments will be provided. Please advise us of any dietary requirements.
