An essential session for those who wish to take a leadership team role in their chapter. Attending this seminar before taking on a Leadership Team position is not just a BNI requirement, it is also a mark of respect towards fellow chapter members who expect you to run the chapter in a professional manner that gives everyone the benefits they joined up for.
Remember that taking on the role of President, Vice President or Secretary-Treasurer is a compensated position, and as such a certain level of commitment is expected. As with any organisation, there is always more to what goes on than meets the eye, and attending and participating in the seminar is how we help you deliver the benefits of chapter membership to members without placing too much pressure on yourself.
Leadership team seminars are also a great way to learn another style of management that may help you in your own business, by exposing you to a new set of skills and ideas that you might not come across in your day to day business activities.
Presidents, Treasurers Member Mentors and Visitor Hosts are required to attend this seminar before they can be appointed to their respective roles. Vice Presidents and Membership Committee members are required to attend a separate training session.
