American-based writer and poet Paul Kane has a strong connection to
Australia. A Passing Bell is a lamentation – written as an unfolding
sequence of Persian Ghazals – on the untimely death of Paul’s wife
Tina. The ghazals trace the poet’s journey through his grief and
loss, and will resonate with anyone who has ever mourned a loved one.
Paul will present readings from his book, which will be available as a
