Understanding Self and Others
What motivates and inspires people to engage in community? How can we get the best out of our staff and volunteers? How can we communicate in ways that build trust and encourage participation? Community Leaders need a high level of self awareness and an ability to understand others preferences for receiving information, communicating and working in teams.
Join our dynamic presenters Bob and Heather McNaught for a light hearted look at personality, preference and community leadership.
Come along to the workshop to:
- Understand communication styles that work for you and those that ‘push your buttons.’
- Increase your awareness of others preference for giving and receiving feedback.
- Manage yourself and support others in conflict more effectively.
- Increase your resilience by better understanding your strengths and preferences.
