Bundoora Park Farm Holiday Program Autumn 2020

BUNDOORA PARK FARM SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM runs every school holidays and is open to primary school aged children from grades prep through to six.Program times are from 10am to 3pm and bookings are essential.  It is a drop off, pick up program and is fully supervised by our experienced program leaders.   The cost of the program is $60.00 per child, per day. Children can bring their own lunch or arrange a lunch order at the cafe In addition to spending time with the animals each day, daily activities are listed below. ______________________________________________________________________________________   WEEK 1 TUESDAY 31 MARCH - BUCKETS, BARROWS & TRACTORS   Be a farmer for the day and help prepare the food for the animals and deliver it by wheelbarrow   and tractor. Help to groom our goats in the afternoon!      WEDNESDAY 1 APRIL - KOULOURAKIA KOOKIES      Pull out your baker’s hats, today we make some traditional Greek Easter cookies! Nóstimos! We’ll visit the      animals while they bake. THURSDAY 2APRIL -   FUN, GAMES & LEMONADE Tug of war, gumboot toss, bowling and hula hoops are all part of the fun today. Cool off in the afternoon with some fresh, homemade lemonade and a visit to the animals.    FRIDAY 3 APRIL - HAPPY DAYS      Pig scratches, chicken treats, donkey games and guinea pig feasts! Today we give the animals lots of      special attention and enrich their spaces to keep them happy on the farm!   WEEK 2    MONDAY 6 APRIL - MOO, QUACK, CLICK!   Today you’ll put yourself in the picture and get a photo taken with your favourite animal! Then get   creative and decorate your picture frame to take home.   TUESDAY 7 APRIL - BUCKETS, BARROWS & TRACTORS Be a farmer for the day and help prepare the foodfor the animals and deliver it by wheelbarrow and tractor. Help to groom the goats in theafternoon! WEDNESDAY 8 APRIL - THE GREAT EGG HUNT Is that an emu egg?... Chicken egg?... Goose egg?... Or a chocolate egg? The great egg hunt is on today! Plus, some guinea pig snuggles in the afternoon. THURSDAY 9 APRIL - HAPPY DAYS   Pig scratches, chicken treats, donkey games and guinea pig feasts!
