'PATCH: Farming and Environment Workshops' run once a term for young
people in secondary school, Years 7 - 9. The workshops are great for
kids who are animal lovers, interested in farming, gardening and
getting outdoors, possibly considering a future course or career with
animals and enjoy spending time with kids of similar interests. We
focus on sustainable farming and animal enrichment. It is a drop
off, pick up program that runs from 10am to 3pm and is fully
supervised by our experienced program leaders. The WORKSHOP RUNS from
10AM TO 3PM and bookings are essential.
The cost of the WORKSHOP IS $50.00 per participant.
PATCH TERM 1 2020: SUNDAY 1ST MARCH
Activities include:
¨ Feeding and spending time with farm animals
¨ Seasonal planting and harvesting
¨ Visits to our wildlife reserve
¨ Working with farmers on farm projects
Bring along:
¨ A morning snack
¨ A packed lunch (we will not be visiting the cafe at lunch time)
¨ Come dressed for the weather (hats & sunscreen for sunny days and
boots & raincoats for wintery days)
