A high proportion of our wildlife is nocturnal and emerges only at
night. If you want to see them you'll need to venture out into the
dark. About this Event Perfect school holiday activity! Join us and
discover a whole different world! We'll hopefully see possums, bats,
birds, the odd gecko and other local wildlife out here in the bush.
Our guide will walk with your group through the Sanctuary and using
spotlights, you will be able to spot some of our night-time creatures,
whilst also learning about what we do and about the animals that live
in this area.
________________________________________________________________ FAQs
What animals will we see? We are a true wildlife sanctuary so all
animals within the Sanctuary are wild and free to move around; as
such, we can not guarantee that you will see any wildlife. How much
walking is there? Your tour will be approx. 1.5 hours and will involve
over 1km of walking. Please be aware that your tour will be conducted
on unsealed tracks. What do I need to bring? Please dress
appropriately for the weather (eg. appropriate footwear, warm clothes
and a spray jacket) and pre-apply mosquito repellent. Do I need a
torch? Your guide will have a spotlight to lead the way and point out
any animals you encounter. Please do not bring your own torch. Can
children attend this event? We welcome children to explore the
Sanctuary with us. However, please be aware that you will increase
your chances of seeing wildlife if the group is quiet as they move
around. Can I cancel my tickets? Refunds are available up to 7 days
prior to the event. What happens if it rains? Wildlife don't tend to
mind a little bit of rain, so the tour will go ahead even if light
showers are expected. We may cancel the tour in extreme weather
conditions (eg. high winds or heavy rainfall); we will contact you
directly if this occurs. How can I get in touch with any questions? If
you have any questions, please contact us on (03) 9479 1206 or
