new industry for Taney however through his self-motivation, ability to
learn and implement things saw him write $1.1 million in his second
year, with 95 transactions and an average sales price in his
marketplace of $400,000. In his second year Taney was awarded sales
performer of the year and after just three years in the industry,
Taney was approached to speak at AREC 2018 about his incredible
journey and success, listing on average 10-12 listings a month
consistently and his dedication in making 200 calls per day for
prospecting.
NICK LYUS
Though Nick is in the 10th year of his strong career in real estate,
he sees his journey as being just at the beginning. With a constant
thirst to improve and adapt the experience for his clients, he is
always learning and innovating and views this as an exciting
challenged. On a path of consistent growth, through fierce focus, Nick
has highlighted an opportunity that we as real estate industry members
often forget to appreciate - our people and our community. Inspired by
this idea of collective well-being, Nick has been personally involved
in delivering aid to families in Fiji, helping refugees living in
Auckland establish themselves in a new life, and he also provides
whatever he can to local families at important times of the year.
BRENT ILICIC
Brenton is the Director of Victoria’s largest specialist
auctioneering company EYS Auctions. He launched his business in 2017
and over the corse of two and a half years has grown a team of 7
specialist auctioneers, facilitating over 1,300 auctions in the 2018
calendar year. His team train extensively to consistently deliver the
highest possible energy on auction day with a key focus of pushing
well beyond the comfort zones of the bidders, to drive the bidding to
