ICT and Networking - School Holiday Workshop
This interactive and creative workshop is open to students aged 14 - 19 years and is held during the winter school holidays. It may help you decide on your elective subjects or post school options.
Enter the exciting world of games technology, artificial intelligence, robotics and cyber security.
The morning session covers the principles of games technology, VR, games programming, AI and future technologies in the games industry.
The afternoon session covers an introduction to networking, cyber security (including penetration testing, ethical hacking), the Cloud, virtualisation and Cisco Systems.
Chisholm offers state-of-the-art facilities including Alienware Labs running Unreal 4, and Network Labs with Cisco, Microsoft and VM Ware virtual technology.
This workshop is perfect for students interested in learning more about the broad career paths that ICT offers including gaming, security and networking.

What to bring: Comfortable clothes, notepad, water and a positive attitude! A light lunch will be provided.
Typical schedule:
9:30am – 9:45am: Registration in building D, foyer at our Frankston campus (Fletcher Road). Students will be greeted before being taken to their classroom.
10:00am: Workshop commences
12:00noon: Break for lunch
12:30pm: Workshop recommences
3:30pm: Workshop ends and students are taken back to building D, where they are dismissed.
