Aimed at educators who already have foundational knowledge of POSITIVE
EDUCATION, this course introduces a new set of modules that complement
the knowledge gained from our DISCOVERING POSITIVE EDUCATION COURSE.
The new topics, including hope theory, grit, savouring, kindness and
meaningful work, are discussed in terms of supporting research, and
both personal and classroom application.The course will commence with
a compulsory online module providing an overview of Positive
Psychology. This online module can be completed within half a day and
will give the participant a good understanding of the evidence-based
foundations of Positive Education.
THE BELOW NINE TOPICS ARE COVERED IN-DEPTH DURING THE COURSE:

* Kindness
* Grit
* Physical Activity
* Humour and Playfulness
* Hope
* Savouring
* Forgiveness
* Meaningful Work
Throughout the course, there will be opportunities to share ideas and
key learnings to embed Positive Education in your school community.

* Cultivate kindness and forgiveness towards self and others
* Foster passion and perseverance – the ingredients of grit
* Better understand the impact of physical exercise on mental health
and learning
* Embrace and utilise humour and playfulness in educational settings
* Use hope theory to support student learning
* Enhance positivity through savouring the past, present and future
* Explore the link between your work and your wellbeing
PLEASE NOTE: This is a three-and-a-half-day residential course that
commences at 5:00pm on Sunday 29 March. Registrations will open from
4:30pm.
