ASIATOPA 2020: DIGITAL ENVIRONMENTS AND CULTURAL INTERSECTIONS Join us
for a lively discussion about the role of digital environments and
novel interaction techniques in the visual arts and contemporary
culture. This panel will explore design inspirations, influences,
outcomes and impact of digital worlds - and how they increasingly
impact our experience of physical space.
Discussing the latest and upcoming developments in the realm of game
ENVIRONMENTS, motion capture, interaction techniques and computer
generated imagery and more, the panel features game and VR developer
ASHLEY LEE WONG (MetaObjects) [https://www.metaobjects.org/] and
Alexander Swords [https://www.alexanderswords.com/], as well as
cosplay and digitisation researcher Madeleine Antonellos
[https://twitter.com/thatmadant] (Interaction Design Lab, The
University of Melbourne). The panel will be moderated by Dr Eduardo
Velloso [https://eduardovelloso.com/], a creative technologist with
the School of Computing and Information Systems at The University of
Melbourne, and particularly intrigued by new interaction devices and
techniques, and interaction design for emerging systems.
This forum is co-presented with The University of Melbourne and
