Oz Comic-Con

Live out your wildest intergalactic and superhero fantasies at Oz Comic-Con, where you’ll get the chance to meet the stars and creators behind your favourite comic book, film and TV adventures. This June, Oz Comic-Con welcomes headliner Doug Jones . You may not recognise Jones' face, but you'll know the creatures he's portrayed for recent science fiction and horror films. He played the Pale Man in Pan's Labyrinth , the Amphibian Man in The Shape of Water , the Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer , Abe Sapien in Hellboy and Hellboy II: The Golden Army , and Commander Saru in Star Trek Discovery . Batwoman 's Rachel Skarsten (a.k.a. super-villain Alice Kane) is also on the line-up. More details still to be announced. Showcasing the latest video games, anime, sci-fi and fantasy stories, the weekend will be a pop-culture hub where attendees can get creative with cosplay and comic art masterclasses, browse exclusive merchandise and explore new worlds. There'll be kids' activities for mini cosplayers and gaming competitions to put your skills to the test. And of course, it wouldn't be a comic con without cosplay – keep your eyes peeled for punters dressed as your favourite characters throughout the building, plus the popular cosplay competition.
