Making waves with her ever growing sense of depth and authenticity, Essie brings a refreshing new light and sometimes darkness to the pop genre. She has now announced the release of her debut EP Silent Wars featuring her deepest and most inspired songs to date, out on April 3rd. The six track EP also includes Essie’s most recent singles ‘Give Me The Night’ and ‘Last One’ which were both loved by fans for their intimate low key alternative sound and uplifting pop crossover. To celebrate the release of the EP Essie Holt will be taking her stellar live show to Sydney & Melbourne this June for two special nights. Essie’s Silent Wars EP is a raw and honest collection of songs about the internal battles we face and can sometimes repress. “For me, this was being queer. I came out in the middle of writing these songs, and the work evolved as my journey unfolded.” Essie shares.
