The foundations day is recomended for all nurses caring for children
with cancer and their families. The day provides an overview of common
paediatric oncology conditions, various treatment modalities, side
effects and oncology emergencies. Supportive care in nursing practice
the psychosocial impact of cancer are also discussed. Course content:
