Let's talk: re-imagining our world

From Wed 23 June 2021 to Wed 11 August 2021
7:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Ended

A regular discussion group about issues and ideas, to practice democracy, and enable the growth of compassion and enlightenment. This is a new regular forum for practicing democracy and civility, where we respectfully listen to and discuss our viewpoints on important topics and philosophical ideas, and for enabling growth towards a compassionate and enlightened community. Hosted by library staff. This month's discussion starter: "We can't integrate our own lives, as a personal project, without a vision of the whole that has endured the test of time: precisely what the great traditions promise... Yet we moderns have heedlessly discarded many of the answers, simply because they are distant in time from us or because we arrogantly assume we have 'evolved' beyond them." - Sohrab Ahmari
