Established in 1933 with a proud history, Wilson Transformer Company
is the largest Australian-owned manufacturer of power and distribution
transformers, operating two manufacturing facilities in Glen Waverley
and Wodonga respectively. The Glen Waverley plant contains all
engineering, electrical and mechanical operations on site; which
includes core cutting, coil winding, transformer assembly, fabrication
and welding. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how others
operate, gain exposure to businesses they may not have previously
interacted with, gain improvement insights and connect with their
peers.
This tour will be a unique opportunity to see first-hand the processes
behind the design, development, manufacturing and testing of quality
power transformers.
