Qoya is an embodied dance based movement practice for all women Qoya
is a way to find your inner Dancing Queen and to release her into the
world. To find the power within you. The strength. The wisdom. The
wildness. The freedom. It's all there, in each and everyone of us. And
Qoya can help you to find it. Qoya is an embodied movement practice
for all women based on the idea that through movement we remember. We
remember that our essence is Wise, Wild and Free. Through a class, we
will experience the Wisdom of yoga, tuning into your breath, your
heartbeat and feelings; the Wildness of the creative expression of
dance, of being yourself wildly, truly; and the Freedom of pleasure
based movement, moving your body to find those sweet spots. ??There
are no levels in Qoya and no way to do it wrong. The way you know you
are doing it right is that it feels good to you. If this is your first
class, here are some suggestions to help you get the most out of it:
wear comfortable clothes you can move freely in and a sports bra may
be a good idea; bring a water bottle, you will work up a thirst; and
be prepared to open your mind and to feel things you may never have
noticed or experienced before. Qoya classes will be following all
current government health advice regarding Covid19. In the event that
a class is cancelled due to the pandemic, a refund will be issued.
