Course Code N/A Entry Requirements Sound computer skills. Basic
understanding of bookkeeping an advantage. Course Description: A short
course for those who want to learn how to use a computer-based
accounting system (MYOB) to perform basic bookkeeping procedures.
Content will cover: customising a company file processing sales /
purchases processing cash transactions generating reports preparing
bank reconciliations generating a BAS (Business Activity Statement)
Note: program focuses on PC compatible machines Pathway: Work /
volunteering or home-based businesses requiring basic bookkeeping /
MYOB skills. Further study: qualifications within the Financial and
Business Services Training Packages. Location Merrilands Community
Centre Mode of Study Teacher supported learning in a classroom /
computer lab. Days Wednesday Time 9.30am–12.00pm Dates 12
February—10 June, 2020 (No classes on 1st April and 8th April)
