This highly practical course is for technicians who are required to
perform service, repair or diagnose faults in automotive
air-conditioning systems. During the course you will learn the
operational principles of air-conditioning systems, safe handling of
refrigerant, identification and recovery, reverse flushing, system
charging techniques, how to rectify excess oil in the system,
overhaul, retrofit and modification along with advanced diagnostic
techniques, the phase out of R134a and the new HFO1234yf gas to name a
few. This nationally recognised qualification is the AUR20218
Certificate II in automotive air conditioning technology and meets the
conditions required to obtain a refrigerant handling license from the
Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC), the licence required to
perform work on any automotive air conditioning system.
