Over 11 million Australians spend an average of 8 hours at work per
day. Given such a large portion of our lives are spent at work, it is
important that employers are creating 'well' WORKPLACES TO PROMOTE
HEALTHY LIVING - from a mental, physical and emotional
perspective.Workplaces are ideally placed to implement policies and
programs that encourage employees to improve healthy eating
behaviours, break up sitting time, increase physical activity levels,
as well as build a positive workplace culture.
These programs in turn, can improve employee retention and
productivity as well as reduce absenteeism and cost and frequency of
worker’s compensation.
But what is a 'well workplace' and how do you create culture of
wellness? What are the strategies that can be put in place to
encourage these positive behaviours?
Presented by the City of Gosnells, this event brings together a panel
of experts in relationship management, workplace wellness management
and mental health support to help you understand how you can make your
workplace well in 2020.
SPEAKERS INCLUDE:
- Ranka Joyce (Relationship Counselling and Small Business Expert)
