CALL FOR ACA ACCREDITED SUPERVISORS
At each monthly chapter meeting, we offer an hour of group supervision
by ACA accredited supervisors (there is no charge for this, and our
supervisors volunteer their time). However, this relies on just a few
supervisors so that when 2 or 3 are on leave/unable to come, our
numbers become very ‘thin’. So, we actually need more of you to
come along and participate as a group supervisor.
If you wish to support your state chapter and find out more about
this, please give me a call/email.
_As you can see, our ACA WA chapter is alive and very active! _

6th Asia Pacific Rim Confederation of Counsellors Conference
As you would be aware, this conference (27-29 September 2019) is being
jointly hosted by ACA, the American Counseling Association and the
Asia Pacific Rim Confederation of Counsellors.
What you may not be aware of is that Cindy Cranswick, from our ACA WA
chapter, is presenting a workshop at this conference. The title is
‘“Self-compassion therapy for the treatment and prevention of
Perinatal mental health issues”.
I will also be participating in the conference so…it would be great
to have a strong WA presence at this conference. Who is up for it?.
_As you can see, our ACA WA chapter is alive and very active! We have
a full calendar for 2018 and I have even been approached by people
offering to present in 2020! _
