Your FASCIAL NETWORK ACTS AS A SCAFFOLDING THROUGHOUT YOUR ENTIRE BODY
- It is the primarily collagen, connective tissue that attaches,
stabilises, encloses and separates our muscles and organs. The four
basic functions of our FASCIAL NETWORK IS TO SHAPE, Move, Communicate
and Support our entire body.Throughout our five weeks together we will
use a unique blend of techniques, to stimulate and hydrate your
fascial network and encourage a sense of slide and glide back into
your tissues and your movement.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
✨ The qualities of the fascia network and why we want to 'train' it.
✨ The key fascial lines in your body and how they support your
movement patterns.
✨A variety of techniques to stimulate and 'train' your fascia
including:
* self-myofascial release techniques using balls, blocks and blankets
in conjunction with bodyweight for targeted and appropriate pressure
to assist generate more tissue mobility;
* carefully selected yin yoga postures to target your key fascial
channels; and
* bounce and recoil methods aimed to train your fascias elastic
qualities and capacity.
THIS SERIES IS FOR YOU IF YOU:
✨ Want to keep your body in shape and sharpen your coordination and
movement habits
✨ Desire to move with more freedom and a sense of space
✨ Feel your muscles and tissues could use some love and hydration
✨ Want to unravel those stiff spots which create restrictions in
your movement
✨ Have tightness in your body due to either overuse, misuse or
underuse
✨ Want to reduce muscle soreness and reduce adhesion
✨ Are curious about the subtleties of how your body moves and how to
move it better
The Series commences at 7.15pm on Thursday 2nd April 2020 and runs
weekly for five weeks - Class dates - 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th April .
No prior yoga experience needed – experienced yogis and first-timers
