Kids Camera Skills

Join us for our Kids CAMERA SKILLS WORKSHOP WHICH WILL TEACH YOUR CHILDREN HOW TO  master CAMERA SETTINGS, creatively engage with the subject and play with lighting and composition!Your children will discover what it means to make meaningful and creative photographs in our indoor studio as well as outdoors. Bring along props, wigs and costumes for portraits, and experiment with aperture and shutter speed to develop a series of photographs. This workshop will also touch on basic image processing in Adobe Lightroom with photo examples of before and after. Visual literacy is incredibly important in our current world. It is our goal to encourage children to look beyond the surface of an image, to understand its context and meaning by getting a chance to develop their own. This workshop is held on a weekday during school holidays and is suitable for ages 8-16 years. Parents are welcome to observe from the back of the studio. Sometimes for reasons including, but not limited to, too few participants, adverse weather, instructor illness, logistical problems or any other circumstances, which may make operation of the workshop inadvisable. If any workshop has to be cancelled by us, then all fees are refunded in full or you may choose another date or workshop.  If a workshop needs to be cancelled, we will give 48 hours' notice.
