Join us for a wonderful morning celebrating NAIDOC Week with Vaughn McGuire! Vaughn will lead a program of stories, song, sharing knowledge, artefacts and artwork. Children will make a woven headband, using the colours of the Aboriginal and Thursday Islander flags. There will also be a kangaroo sausage sizzle.

Vaughn McGuire is a Whadjuk Nyoongah man. He is an educator and his experience includes working with youth in the area of mental health.

This event is for primary school children aged 6 to 12 years. Please do not book younger children as places are limited and this is a school holiday event. The event is free, but bookings are essential.

Don't forget to cancel your booking if you are unable to attend once you have booked, as the ticket can then be released for someone else to enjoy.

Please advise of an dietary and/or accessibility requirements.

Contact the library on 9290 6780 if you have any queries.
