The Western Australian Fishing Industry Council (WAFIC) is delighted to host the WA Seafood Industry Awards 2021 event on Friday 13 August, 2021 at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle.
The Awards showcase the WA seafood industry, its value to the State economy and communities, as well as the professionalism and commitment to supplying some of the finest seafood in the world to local, national and international markets, whilst also celebrating and encouraging industry participants.
In 2021, the event will once again bring together a wide range of stakeholders from the seafood and fishing industries. This exclusive evening welcomes the industrys top players, including commercial fishers and aquaculturists, retailers, processors, exporters, wholesalers, restaurateurs as well as key government and environmental agencies, media and gastronomes.
Winners of each award category will receive automatic entry into the national awards competition, the 11th Australian Seafood Industry Awards to be held in conjunction with Seafood Directions 2022.

Cost: (Early Bird) $95 per person (plus booking fees) or (post Friday 31 May) $105 per person (plus booking fees), includes food (and beer, wine and soft drink from 6-10pm). A cash bar will also be available for drinks from 6pm-midnight.
Dress: (Men) Suit and tie (Women) Cocktail wear
NB. Please note there are no formal tables, the event is a stand-up cocktail style function, allowing guests to freely move between food theatre stations.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The event is an 18+ cocktail style function - alcohol will be served.
What are my parking options for the event?
Valet car-parking is available to attendees at a fee of $20.00 per vehicle per day, the use of this bay is not transferable. Non-resident delegates may use the Hotel's valet parking service, provided a reservation is made with the concierge desk at least 48 hours prior to use.
Street parking is available near the hotel or there are also three Wilson carparks (Marine Terrace, Collie Street & Queen Street), within walking distance from the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle, all offering an hourly parking rate.
Alternative parking is available in the undercover, multi-story Collie Street Car Park situated adjacent to the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle in Collie Street. Parking Discount Tickets can be made available to delegates allowing them to park for the full day at a flat rate of $22.00, subject to change. Parking Discount Tickets need to be prearranged with the Hotel, so please the Concierge on (08) 9432 4000 if you wish to use this option.
In additional public car parking is available at the Wilsons Essex Street carpark, starting from $2.00/hr & maximum $14.00 per day for casual parking..
