The Australia-Hong Kong Free Trade Agreement negotiation is currently underway – trade and investment between the two economies are expecting to go from strength to strength. In addition, the Australian Government has recently launched the $50m Export and Regional Wine Support Package (The Wine Export Grants) which are now open for applications. The Grants are designed to support small to medium wineries in capturing export opportunities in China including Hong Kong, by offering reimbursement grants for specific export promotion activities.
