This free two day COURSE IS SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WHO KNOW OR CARE FOR A
PERSON WITH DEMENTIA (not suitable for people with a diagnosis of
dementia). It is designed to give an understanding of dementia, what
happens to a person when they develop dementia and how to communicate
with and support a person with dementia.Each workshop will consist of
two days from 10:00am - 3:30pm (lunch provided). Day one is
‘Understanding Dementia’ and Day two will focus on ‘Living with
Dementia’. Maximum benefit is achieved by attending both days.
