They will be joined by local legends Sam DARCY BAND AND ZOE BAKER. Hailing from the east coast of lutruwita/Tassie, FLOWER EXTRACT ARE A DISTINCTLY VANDEMONIAN INDIE-psych-rock quartet who now operate between nipaluna/Hobart and naarm/MELBOURNE. Musically they create a sound that is unique yet familiar, and have a reputation for energetic, spontaneous, and occasionally nonsensical live shows. On the streets they are known for their C-grade stage banter, B-grade indie-psych-rock, and A-grade friendship. Their typically Tasmanian, heads-screwed-on approach has seen them release a swath of music (including a 14 track extended edition of their debut EP - Natural Press); play some notable sets at festivals like Party in the Paddock, The Great Escape, A Festival Called George, and Bonzaki; and support mainlanders like The Grogans and Johnny Hunter. They now turn their attention to bigger fish, with a list of 2025 new year resolutions including - release some more music, play some more shows, self actualisation, and learn how to make coffee like they do in MELBOURNE.
